Welcoming parishioners from Sacred Heart of Jesus, St. Michael, Our Lady of Pompei's Spanish-speaking community, and St. Patrick, the worshipping community of Sacred Heart of Jesus officially became Sacred Heart of Jesus – Sagrado Corazón de Jesús Parish the weekend of August 6-7, 2011, the Feast of the Transfiguration. The new faith community is a multicultural parish serving the spiritual and cultural needs of the diverse and vibrant Catholic community in Southeast Baltimore.
Dándole la bienvenida a feligreses de Sacred Heart of Jesus, St. Michael, la comunidad hispana de Our Lady of Pompei y de St. Patrick, la comunidad de Sacred Heart of Jesus se convirtió oficialmente en la Parroquia Sacred Heart of Jesus-Sagrado Corazón de Jesús el fin de semana del 6 y 7 de agosto de 2011, Fiesta de la Transfiguración.
